The Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch Reopens After Two Years

March 7, 2022

The Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch at Cal Poly Pomona has officially reopened after a season of renovations and closure from the pandemic.

The student-operated and managed fine dining establishment is open to the public with limited reservations Tuesday through Friday throughout the spring 2022 semester. Lunch will be served from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

“We are excited to welcome our students back into the kitchen,” said Lecturer Jason Zhang (hospitality management, 2010). “It gives us the opportunity to bring back CPP’s hands-on learning experiences that The Collins College of Hospitality Management is known for.”

Overlooking the rolling hills of Pomona, the RKR is a central part of the hospitality management curriculum and showcases CPP's inclusive polytechnic advantage. Students gain real-world experience creating and executing management plans while rotating through all positions of the award-winning fine-dining establishment, which boasts one of Pomona's most romantic and chic settings.

The restaurant is following COVID-19 health and safety protocols set by the university.
