Abstract: 

Brazilian technologies are not always known worldwide. And if I tell you that the main artificial intelligence center, Nvidia's only AINations partner in the country and the second in Latin America, with direct operations in 14 states and 5 countries, holding the current benchmarks in 14 different AI tasks, moving almost 12 million dollars a year in research, development, and innovation is in Brazil? In this talk, I will present the Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and successful cases in artificial intelligence solutions. The intention here is to show possibilities for academic and professional partnerships, scholarships, exchange programs, and even possible hiring.

Bio: 

Professor at the Institute of Informatics at Federal University of Goiás (UFG). Permanent member of the Master's and Doctorate programs in Computer Science at INF. Innovation career with a solid academic background (cum laude) and outstanding experience in projects with private companies. He is currently the Head of International Projects at the Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence (CEIA), where he leads innovative projects for energy, health, pharmaceuticals, entertainment, and others. Adjunct Professor in Machine Learning and Deep Learning at UFG, where he leads the Natural Language Processing team (CEIA-NLP).
