Kellogg Legacy Endowment
The Kellogg Legacy Endowment is an enduring philanthropic investment in the future of Cal Poly students and the campus community through a $42M grant from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation in 2011. This extraordinary gift strengthens student success programs, enhances faculty teaching and scholarship, and expands partnerships with the communities we serve. It also advances our commitment to an inclusive and student-centered learning environment.
The endowment is managed by the Cal Poly Pomona Philanthropic Foundation. In collaboration with the Presidential Cabinet and campus leadership, the University President directs investments toward strategic initiatives that advance the university’s mission of experiential learning, discovery, and innovation.
The fund supports a variety of targeted investments in projects and activities that strengthen the university and advance the mission to cultivate success through a culture of experiential learning, discovery, and innovation. Funding decisions are typically announced in the spring semester, with supported programs beginning in the fall.
