Focus on Finals Prepares Students for Exam Season

Focus on Finals returns virtually this year, continuing the initiative to help students prepare for final exams by connecting them with campus resources, virtual events, and helpful information. This year, Focus on Finals runs from May 1 through May 21, the last day of scheduled final exams.

The University Library will reopen as a "by reservation" study space pilot from May 2 through May 21 - it is closed on Saturdays. Students can reserve a study space or computer workstation. During this period, the Library will continue to provide services virtually and physical materials at the Bronco Lockers, a contactless pickup service located on the west side of the Bronco Bookstore.

In order to use the reserved study spaces in the library, students must agree to follow public health protocols and complete the Safer Return Checklist for approved in-person activities. This includes completing the COVID-19 Training and Acknowledgement Form.

Departments from across campus will be hosting Focus on Finals virtual events designed to help students stay focused, avoid burnout, and take advantage of breaks. The events will focus on everything from managing test anxiety to enhancing motivation.

Study playlists created by students are also available to help students stay in the study zone with genres like lo-fi, R&B and K-Music. Live streaming video of puppies and kittens are available in place of the therapy animals typically hosted by the library during previous Focus on Finals.

The Instagram account for the Division of Student Affairs (@cpp_dsa) will feature students sharing their own helpful study tips. It's never too late to try a new way to study.

Access to the above, including registration forms, are located on the Focus on Finals website.
