Renaissance Scholars
Eligibility Requirements
To access support services through Renaissance Scholars at Cal Poly Pomona, students must meet the following criteria:
You must have been placed in the care of someone other than your biological parents. This includes foster homes, group homes, legal guardianship, kinship care, or adoption from foster care.
You must submit a document verifying your foster care status.
If you need help getting your Ward of Court document, contact the California Foster Care Ombudsperson's Office at 1-877-846-1602 or complete the online verification request form.
You must be a California resident or an AB 540/2000 nonresident tuition exemption student.
