Michele Gendreau is currently the General Manager, Food & Beverage and store operations for Disney California Adventure. In this role, Michele leads 3700 cast members is providing exceptional guest experiences in all dining (snack and quick service to table service and signature dining) and shopping experiences throughout Disney California Adventure Park.
With nearly 40years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, Michele began her Disney career in 2006 as the Director of Concept and Product Development at Walt Disney Park & Resorts. She managed the creative development of the novelties, synergy and packaging products for the Food & Beverage department, and integrated new standards throughout the 450 various restaurants at both the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif.
Before joining The Walt Disney Company, Michele worked for Spartan Shops, Inc. at San Jose State University where she held the position of Director of Dining Services, overseeing residential dining, catering, vending, and 13 retail restaurants servicing more than 29,000 students, faculty and staff on campus. In addition, Michele has served as the Manager, Dining Services at University of Southern California.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is on the Board of Advisors for the Collins College of Hospitality Management, Cal Poly Pomona and is also Board member in the Cal Poly Rose Float Alumni Association.
She resides in Brea, Calif.
