Student Affairs Organization
The departments in the dean of students cluster advance the university's educational mission by extending the learning environment beyond the classroom through intentionally designed co-curricular opportunities. To that end, each department is committed to promoting the development and enhancement of the educational experience of students through a wide array of programs and services.
Transition and Retention Services, led by Associate Vice President Dr. Kevin Colaner, is a unit of the Division of Student Affairs and is a cluster of departments that includes the Career Center and Student Support and Equity Programs. As members of the Student Services staff, we care deeply about our students and their success. We encourage, advise, counsel, heal and empower our students, and we enjoy sharing some of the moments that define the outstanding men and women they are as well as the terrific citizen-leaders they will become.
