Who We Are: The Black Faculty Staff Association (BFSA) at Cal Poly Pomona is an organization that promotes an inclusive and equitable academic environment that values the unique contributions of faculty and staff. BFSA is committed to fostering a strong sense of community, advancing professional growth, and celebrating the cultural identity of Black Faculty, Staff and Students. BFSA serves as a pillar of connection and advocacy within the campus.  

What We Do: BFSA has played a pivotal role in enhancing the university experience with the black community for 50 years. BFSA proudly contributes to the academic and personal success of students by raising significant funds each year, including endowments for scholarships that support future leaders. BFSA host several programming events throughout the semester for an opportunity to connect and build community.
