Financial Aid Requirements

CAlifornia DREAM Act Application

State funding is open to undocumented students who are considered residents of California determined by the AB540 Exemption. If you qualify, you are required to submit the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for financial aid for consideration and answer the questions in the AB540 section.

Residency determination can be made and changed while attending Cal Poly Pomona. You may submit your CADAA first and answer questions on the AB540 section of the CADAA. The Cal Poly Pomona Residency Office will review the answers and contact students for further information.

  • Submit your 2024-2025 CA Dream Act Application before the April 2nd Priority Deadline. State funding is limited. When completing the CA Dream Act Application please make sure that you indicate you will be attending Cal Poly Pomona when listing your schools of attendance; our school code is 001144.
