VAWA Info Session
Join Undocumented Students Services (USS), CARECEN, and Survivor Advocacy Services for this event, where our community can learn about the support available for Domestic Violence survivors. In this event, you will learn about the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), who qualifies for it, and, most importantly, how your community supports you by learning about the resources available on campus.
Crafting our stories: Art and discussion on the immigrant experience
Join us in a discussion on the identities of undocumented queer students, this event is a meaningful opportunity for allies to deepen their understanding and support for the community. Through artistic expression, tie-dye bandanas and mini canvas paintings, students will represent the flags and symbols that resonate with their identities. Let's come together to build more informed and supportive community, celebrating and acknowledging the strength and resilience of every individual!
CAPS Drop In Hours
Drop-in hours are brief, 15–30-minute, therapeutic consultations where you can chat with a therapist about a stressful situation, a bad day, check-in with your mental health and/ or be assisted with tools to regulate your emotions With Cintia Rodriguez, LCSW

Discover, Connect and Create with us !
Please join us for a discussion on the diverse identities of immigrant Black and Asian students as this event aims to deepen our understanding of the vast and varies experiences within the undocumented community. Through crafting with air dry clay, you will have the chance to create meaningful symbols of your identities and the challenges you've overcome. This is more than just an event—it's an opportunity to build connections and find your place within our community!

Undocu Ally Training Fall 2024
Undocu Ally Training is an exciting opportunity for CPP staff and faculty to gain valuable insights into the unique experiences and challenges faced by undocumented students. This comprehensive program goes beyond the basics, offering a deep understanding of the barriers undocumented students encounter and empowering participants with actionable strategies to create a more inclusive, supportive campus environment. Whether you're new to this issue or looking to strengthen your advocacy, this training will provide the tools you need to make a meaningful impact and support student success. Undocu Ally Training - Part 1
UndocuAlly Training Part 1 - Open for all CPP Faculty and Staff.
Develop an understanding of foundational terminology and concepts, become aware of issues that currently impact the Undocumented community at a national level, learn about resources for the Undocumented community, and reflect on ways to support Undocumented students at CPP.

Undocu Ally Training Part 2 - Supporting CPP Students
Apply the knowledge you learned in Part 1 and move from the national to the state and local framework. Gain a greater understanding of the support California provides to the undocumented community and how this benefits students. Finally, learn different ways in which you can support undocumented students on campus and how to be an UndocuAlly.
