Ceremony Mission Statement

Undocumented Students Services (USS) Undocu Grad Recognition Celebration is dedicated to recognizing undocumented students for their accomplishment of reaching a milestone -- their college graduation. It promotes a positive celebration for students, their families, and those who have supported them through their journey as undergraduates.

Ceremony Vision

We create an intimate ceremony for the undocumented community highlighting the many talents and diverse stories of this community. Additionally, we aim to promote positive dialogue for the immigrant community at Cal Poly Pomona.

History of Undocu Grad Celebration 

Established in 2017, this community event celebrates the strength of undocumented students and allies on campus through a graduation ceremony and an acknowledgment of students' community cultural wealth. Undocu Grad works to promote a positive celebration for students, their families, and loved ones who have supported them throughout their undergraduate journey.
