Caltrans to Close Southbound Lanes of 57 Freeway Near 60 Freeway Interchange Starting on Friday, Aug. 5

Summary of disruption: Closure of the southbound lanes of the 57 Freeway near the 60 Freeway interchange to Pathfinder Road (see map) will start at 10 p.m. on Friday Aug. 5 and continue until 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8. Drivers should expect delays. All work is subject to change due to weather or construction-related issues. Closures may start and end later than scheduled, subject to weather and work conditions.      

The lane closure dates and times are:

Full closure of southbound 57 Freeway lanes from 57 Freeway/60 Freeway interchange to Pathfinder Road

Friday, Aug. 5 from 10 p.m. to Saturday, Aug. 6 at 4 a.m.

Sunday, Aug. 7 from 11 p.m. to Monday, Aug. 8 at 5 a.m.

Only two lanes open on southbound 57 Freeway from 57 Freeway/60 Freeway interchange to Pathfinder Road

Saturday, Aug. 6 from 4 a.m. through Sunday, Aug. 7 at 11 p.m.

 

Reason for disruption: The closure is part of a pavement replacement project to remove and replace concrete slabs in both directions of the 57 Freeway that will enhance ride quality and maximize the service of the roadway. What do I need to do? Expect delays. Slow down and proceed with caution when approaching the lane closures. Allow extra time to get to destinations and follow posted detour signs.
