Project to Replace Backup Generator at Music Building Underway

Summary of disruption: The replacement of a backup generator in the Music Building (Building 24) is underway. Contractor crews will perform the work on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The project is expected to be completed in early November.

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to replace the generator and other electrical components.

How does this affect me? The work will force temporary closures of the pathways and roads near the building. The work area will be cordoned off.

What do I need to do? Use caution if walking or driving campus vehicles near the work site. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
