Biotechnology Building to Undergo Fire Alarm Tests Starting on Tuesday, Jan. 12

Summary of disruption: State-mandated annual fire alarm testing is scheduled in the Biotechnology Building (Building 4) starting on Tuesday, Jan. 12. Tests also will occur on Wednesday, Jan. 13, and Thursday, Jan. 14. Testing will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Reason for disruption: Allow the university to conduct state-mandated annual testing of the fire alarm system in each campus building.

How does this affect me? Elevators will not be operational during testing. The HVAC system will undergo interruptions. Loud horns and flashing strobe lights may be triggered during tests.

What do I need to do? Use stairwells during testing. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
