Demolition of Two Rooms in Building One to Begin on Monday, Oct. 5

Summary of disruption: Contractor crews will start the demolition of Room 304 and Room 305 in Building 1 on Monday, Oct. 5 as part of a renovation project. The work will be performed weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Demolition work is expected to be completed by mid-October. Access to the third floor of the building will not be affected.

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to demolish Room 304 and Room 305 for the anticipated construction of a computer lab and a shared meeting space for faculty members and students.

How does this affect me? The demolition may cause intermittent noise, dust and odors. Access to Building 1 and the third floor will not be impacted.
