Student Services Building to Undergo Power Interruption Starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1

Summary of disruption: Electricity to the Student Services Building (Building 121) will be interrupted from approximately 6 p.m. to midnight on Wednesday, June 1. Campus crews will be on standby to restore power.

Reason for disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to install electrical equipment that will be part of the new campus power system.

How does this affect me? Elevators will not be in service. Avoid being in the building during the power interruption.  

What do I need to do? Turn off lights, computers and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Wednesday, June 1 before 5:45 p.m. Please share this information with others in the buildings who may have not received this message.
