Building 3 Roof Replacement Project to Commence on Monday, Oct. 5

Summary of disruption: The roof of Building 3 (Science Laboratory) will be dismantled and replaced starting on Monday, Oct. 5. The work is scheduled weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Nov. 20. Access to the building will remain open.

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to dismantle the existing roof and install the new roof.

How does this affect me? The work and equipment may cause intermittent noise, dust and odors. A staging area for a forklift, equipment and materials will be established in the parking lot adjacent to the building. A significant portion of the parking lot will be closed during the project. Two additional temporary staging areas are planned in the walkways adjacent to the Science Laboratory. Access to the Science Laboratory will be available throughout the project.

What do I need to do? Use caution when approaching work areas or use detours. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
