Roof Replacement at Biotechnology Building to Start at 6 a.m. on Monday, July 28
Summary of disruption: Contractor crews will replace the roof of the Biotechnology Building (Building 4) beginning at 6 a.m. on Monday, July 28. Trucks and equipment will periodically and temporarily obstruct a pathway to the west of the building and to the south of the loading dock. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 29.
Reason for disruption: Allow for the demolition and installation of a new roof.
How does this affect me? The project will periodically and temporarily force the closure of certain walkways and areas around the building. Workers may generate nominal noise during specific stages of the replacement process. Work start times may be impacted by weather conditions, and some work could be pushed to a Saturday.
What do I need to do? Follow detour signs if pathways are closed. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
