New Stage of Electrical Cable Installation to Begin on Wednesday, Nov. 17

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will start the latest stage of electrical cable installation in underground duct banks around the campus starting on Wednesday, Nov. 17. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This phase of cable installation is expected to be completed by Friday, Dec. 17.

 

Cables will be installed near:

College of Business Administration (Buildings 162, 163 and 164)

Art Department and Engineering Annex (Building 13)

Biotechnology Building (Building 4)

Student Health Services (Building 46)

Kellogg West (Building 76)

Bronco Bookstore (Building 66)

Foundation Administration Offices (Building 55)

Darlene May Gymnasium (Building 41)

Kellogg Arena (Building 43)

Residential Suites

Parking Structure 2

Athletic fields

 

Reason for disruption: Allow the contractor to install the new campus electrical system.

How does this affect me? Cable installation will be performed underground and is not expected to cause detours.

What do I need to do? Pedestrians and drivers of campus of campus vehicles are urged to use caution when approaching the work areas. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
