Latest Stage of Electrical Cable Installation to Commence on Friday, Dec. 17

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will start the latest stage of electrical cable installation in underground duct banks around the campus starting on Friday, Dec. 17. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This phase of cable installation is expected to be completed by Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022.  

 

Cables will be installed near:

Biotechnology Building (Building 4)

Student Health Services (Building 46)

Campus Center (Building 97)

Building One

 

Reason for disruption: Allow the contractor to install the new campus electrical system.

How does this affect me? Cable installation will be performed underground and is not expected to cause detours.

What do I need to do? Pedestrians and drivers of campus of campus vehicles are urged to use caution when approaching the work areas. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
