Construction Crane to Hoist Modular Building Into Place Adjacent to Fruit/Crops Unit on Tuesday, Feb. 3

Summary of disruption: A plant science modular building will be hoisted onto its foundation adjacent to the Fruit/Crops Unit (Building 28) starting at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3. The work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m.

Reason for disruption: Allow a crane contractor crew to place the new modular building on its foundation.

How does this affect me? The northern section in the parking lot of the building will be cordoned off to accommodate the crane. The southern section of the lot will be available for parking.

What do I need to do? Users of the building, pedestrians and drivers of campus vehicles are urged to use caution when approaching the work site. Please share this information with occupants and users of the building who may have not received this message.
