Next Phase of Electrical Cable Installation to Commence on Tuesday, Sept. 14

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will commence the next state of electrical cable installation in underground duct banks around the campus starting on Tuesday, Sept. 14. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This phase of cable installation is expected to be completed by Thursday, Oct. 7.

Darlene May Gymnasium (Building 41)

Bronco Recreation Intramural Complex (Building 42)

Bronco Bookstore (Building 66)

Bronco Student Center (Building 35)

Music Building (Building 24)

University Library (Building 15)

Cultural Centers (Building 95)

Campus Center (Building 97)

College of Engineering (Building 9)

College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences (Building 5)

Art Department and Engineering Annex (Building 13)

Kellogg West Main Lodge (Building 77)

Residential Suites

 

Reason for disruption: Allow the contractor to install the new campus electrical system.

How does this affect me? Cable installation will be performed underground and is not expected to cause detours.

What do I need to do? Pedestrians and drivers of campus of campus vehicles are urged to use caution when approaching the work areas. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
