Pedestrian Signal Installation Near SSB to Begin on Tuesday, Sept. 15

Summary of Disruption: A crosswalk and pedestrian signal installation project near the Student Services Building (SSB) will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The work will occur weekdays from approximately 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Eucalyptus Drive between the SSB and the Centerpointe Dining Commons. Installation of the crosswalk and crossing light are intended to improve pedestrian safety. The project is expected to be completed on Monday, Sept. 21.

Reason for Disruption: Allow contractor crews to mark the crosswalk and install a flashing pedestrian crossing light to improve pedestrian safety in the area.

How does this affect me? Drivers going to and leaving the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation office and the Bronco Bookstore may face intermittent delays during the installation work.

What do I need to do? Use caution when approaching the work area and use other pedestrian crossing points during the project. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
