Piping Replacement in Room 1210 at Engineering Laboratories to Commence at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13

Summary of disruption: Piping under the floor of Room 1210 in the Engineering Laboratories (Building 17) will be replaced starting at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13. The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m.

Reasons for disruption: Allow crews to cut through the floor of the East Wing briefing room to replace sections of piping.   

How does this affect me? The use of a saw to cut through the floor and the replacement of piping will generate noise. Employees impacted by the heightened noise level are urged to seek temporary accommodations in other sections of the building.
