Electrical Interruption Scheduled in Four Buildings Starting on Saturday, March 12

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will interrupt power to four buildings starting on Saturday, March 12. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power.

The times of the power interruptions and affected buildings are:

 

Saturday, March 12 starting at 6 a.m. and concluding at 6 a.m. on Sunday, March 13

The Collins College of Hospitality Management (Building 79)

The Collins College of Hospitality Management (Building 79B)

The Collins College of Hospitality Management (Building 80)

 

Saturday, March 12 from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Sheep Unit (Building 38)

 

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.     

How does this affect me? Avoid being on campus during the power interruption.  

What do I need to do? Turn off lights, computers and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Friday, March 11. Please share this information with others in the buildings who may have not received this message.
