Two-Day Power Shutdown at College of Science to Start on Wednesday, May 19

Summary of disruption: The College of Science (Building 8) will undergo a power shutdown starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19. Lighting will not be operational. Power is expected to be restored by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 21.

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to make electrical connections as part of the Elevator Modernization Project.  

How does this affect me? The College of Science will be closed. Essential personnel, faculty and staff members, and students responsible for the care of animals will be allowed entrance into the building.

What do I need to do? Avoid being in the College of Science during the power shutdown. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
