Trenching to Close Sections of Red Gum Lane Starting on Monday, Oct. 19

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade Project contractor will initiate the first of two phases of trenching on Red Gum Lane near the CLA and Voorhis Park starting on Monday, Oct. 19. Trenching will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The work site will be fenced off and trenching is expected to finish by the end of October. Access to nearby parking lots will not be affected. Detour signs will direct drivers to the temporary parking area for mail and package pickup at Distribution Services.

Reason for Disruption: Allow contractor crews to start trenching and installing duct banks in the initial phase of the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade Project that is underway.

How does this affect me? A temporary parking area adjacent to the CLA Tower will be established so faculty and staff can pick up mail and packages at Distribution Services.
