Rescheduled Power Interruption in Nine Buildings to Start at 10 p.m. on Friday, April 29

Summary of disruption: An electrical interruption to nine buildings has been rescheduled and will start at 10 p.m. on Friday, April 29. Campus electrical crews will be on standby to restore power. The power outage was originally scheduled to begin on April 30.

The times of the power interruptions and affected buildings are:

 

10 p.m. on Friday, April 29 to 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 30

University Library (Building 15)

Roundhouse (Building 16)

Engineering Laboratories (Building 17)

CLA Classroom (Building 98C)

College of Business Administration (Buildings 162, 163 and 164)

 

10 p.m. on Friday, April 29 to 2 a.m. on Saturday, April 30

Bronco Bookstore (Building 66)

 

10 p.m. on Friday, April 29 to Noon on Saturday, April 30  

Music Building (Building 24)

 

Reason for disruption: Allow contractor crews to initiate electrical loop tie-ins to the new campus electrical system.     

How does this affect me? Avoid being on campus during the power interruption.  

What do I need to do? Turn off lights, computers and other electronic equipment before leaving offices and workspaces on Friday, April 29. Please share this information with others in the buildings who may have not received this message.
