Roof Renovation at Custodial Services Offices to Commence at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18

Summary of disruption: Contractor crews will renovate the roof of the Custodial Offices (Building 48) starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18. Trucks and equipment will periodically and temporarily obstruct driveways near the building. The work will occur on weekdays from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the project is expected to be completed by Monday, Oct. 13. 

Reason for disruption: Allow for the demolition of existing roof and installation of a new covering.  

How does this affect me? Equipment in the work area may temporarily block driveways and walking paths around the building. The project will generate nominal noise during the demolition and installation of the new roof.

What do I need to do? Drivers of campus vehicles and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work site. Please share this information with others in the building who may have not received this message.
