Second Phase of Manhole Installations on University Drive to Begin on Monday, May 3

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will implement the second stage of manhole installations along University Drive starting on Monday, May 3. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by mid-May. Steel plates will be placed over the work sites at night to allow traffic to pass through University Drive.

Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.    

How does this affect me? Follow the instructions of flagmen near the manhole installation sites. Construction and pedestrian signs will be posted.

What do I need to do? Drivers and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching work areas. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
