Student Services Building to Undergo Fire Alarm Testing Starting on Thursday, Jan. 21

Summary of disruption: State-mandated fire alarm testing is scheduled in the Student Services Building (Building 121) on Thursday, Jan. 21, and Friday, Jan. 22. Testing will occur from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.   

Reason for disruption: Allow the university to conduct state-mandated annual testing of the fire alarm system in each campus building.

How does this affect me? Elevators will not be operational during testing. The HVAC system will undergo interruptions. Loud horns and flashing strobe lights may be triggered during tests.

What do I need to do? Use stairwells during testing. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
