Trenching in Athletic Field Adjacent to Running Track to Start on Friday, Feb. 19

Summary of disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) project contractor will begin trenching in the athletic field adjacent to the running track starting on Friday, Feb. 19. The work will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The work area will be fenced off and the trenching is expected to be completed by March 19. 

Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.

How does this affect me? There will be no impact on pedestrian pathways near the work site.

What do I need to do? Drivers of campus vehicles and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
