Trenching Adjacent to College of Engineering to Commence on Monday, April 26

Summary of Disruption: The Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade (EIU) Project contractor will start trenching adjacent to the College of Engineering (Building 9) beginning on Monday, April 26. Trenching will be performed on weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The work site will be fenced off and trenching is expected to finish in early May. Access to the building will not be impacted.  

Reason for Disruption: Allow EIU contractor crews to start installing the new electrical system.     

How does this affect me? The work area will be fenced off and construction signs will be posted. Use detours around the trenching area.  

What do I need to do? Drivers of campus vehicles and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching the work area. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
