Trenching in Rose Garden and Sidewalk Near CBA Complex to Start on Monday, Sept. 14

 

Summary of Disruption: Contractor crews will trench along the Kellogg Rose Garden and in the sidewalk near the College of Business Administration complex starting on Monday, Sept. 14. The trenching work will occur weekdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sidewalk trenching is expected to be completed by Monday, Sept. 21. Trenching in the Rose Garden is expected to be completed by the end of September. Access to the Rose Garden will still be available. Half of the sidewalk will be open for pedestrians during the work. A construction fence will be erected around the trenching areas.

Reason for Disruption: Allow contractor crews to start trenching and installing duct banks in the initial phase of the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade Project that is underway.   

How does this affect me? The trenching areas will be fenced off. Access to the College of Business Administration and the Kellogg Rose Garden will not be affected.

What do I need to do? Proceed with caution when approaching the trenching areas. Please share this information with others who may have not received this message.
