Break in Recycled Water Main Cuts Off Irrigation to Portions of Campus

Summary of disruption: A break in a recycled water main will leave portions of the campus without water for irrigation starting today (Tuesday, Sept. 6). The affected areas are University Village, AGRIscapes, the athletics fields including the track, and Ag Valley. The Agriculture Department will need to bring in water for the animals in Ag Valley. Repairs are expected to be completed by the late afternoon on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Reason for disruption: Allow crews to make repairs on the recycled water main.

How does this affect me? The drinking water supply to faucets, filling stations and fountains is not affected.
