Join us on March 21

The Mechanical Engineering Department (ME), along with the College of Engineering, will welcome our admitted students for the BroncoBound open house activity on March 21, 2026 (Saturday). To join the activity, visitors must register via BroncoBound.

The ME Department will offer guided tours where guests can explore the ME academic labs and student project labs. Our faculties will showcase our "learn-by-doing" education in action. Visitors will also have the opportunity to engage in face-to-face conversations with the department chair, professors, and students. Each tour takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

The tours will depart every 20 minutes, starting at 9:15 am. The last tour will depart at 12:15 pm. 

There is no reservation for the department tour. We will dispense the tour tickets on a first-come first-serve basis, at the Mechanical Engineering booth in front of Building 9, starting at 8:45 am. 

Besides the department tour, the College of Engineering will host the information sessions starting at 9:00 am. Cal Poly Pomona will also host a series of activities at the university level. Please visit the BroncoBound website for details.
