About

Dr. Shahnaz Lotfipour earned her PhD in Curriculum & Instructional Technology, and postdoctoral research experience from ISU, Ames, IA.  She started as an instructional designer in Open U. in Iran, served as district media specialist, taught video production at HS, taught media production to teachers and librarians at Montana State U, Missoula, MT, and prepared the entire college faculty, administrators, and staff to integrate technology into their daily work at Drake U in Des Moines, IA.  She started at Cal Poly in 1991, designed the EMM program and the EMM lab through a large grant, worked with CTC on the first CA teacher tech standards, and designed and managed Joint EDD program in Ed’l Tech Leadership with UCI from 2003-2014.  She has authored several books on the application of technologies for teachers in Persian language with the latest one called: Learning in the Age of Web 2.0, 3.0, X.0, IoT. As full professor at CPP, she coordinates the EMM program.
