The Student Housing License Agreement serves as your housing contract and is for a specific occupancy period. The occupancy period generally follows the Academic Year (Fall through Spring). Occupancy periods may be any one of the following:
- Summer, Fall and Spring Semester
- Fall and Spring Semester
- Spring Semester only
- Summer Session only
Please review the Terms and Conditions of the Student Housing License Agreement, which outlines the conditions for release that will be considered by University Housing Services. The agreement states that only those students who are graduating, withdrawing from Cal Poly Pomona, or getting married will be released from their contract. All other reasons may be considered and will require a meeting and review with a Housing representative.

To cancel this agreement prior to the end of the occupancy period, students must submit a request, in writing, to the Housing Office with a minimum of thirty (30) days notice.
