Juneteenth Block Party & Celebration

The Office of Inclusive Excellence, with support from the Kellogg Legacy Foundation, hosted a Juneteenth Block Party & Celebration on Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Bronco Commons and the Bronco Student Center.

The block party featured an African drum circle, a photo booth, vendors from the Alliance Black marketplace, and a Fluff Ice truck. The celebration continued in Ursa Major with a soul food lunch, a featured speaker, gospel choir, and an African dance performance.

CSU Juneteenth Symposium

The California State University held its second biennial Juneteenth Symposium with the aim of honoring African American history and acheivement, as well as advancing ongoing efforts to promote and uphold the anti-racism work underway across the CSU's 23 campuses.
