Cal Poly Pomona Named to Top 100 Schools for Hispanics List

Cal Poly Pomona is among the nation’s best for awarding bachelor’s degrees to Latinx students according to the 2023 “Top 100 Colleges and Universities For Hispanics” rankings by the news outlet The Hispanic Outlook on Education. In 2021-22, the university was No. 13 in the nation based on data from the national Center for Education Statistics.

The university also made several of the national “Top 10 Schools” by major:

One of the most diverse polytechnic universities in the nation, Cal Poly Pomona is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and enrolls more than 14,200 Latinx students, which is approximately 54 percent of the student body.

The university was recently recognized by U.S. News and World Report as the No. 2 “Top Public Schools in the West” and by the Wall Street Journal at No. 11 among the “2024 Best U.S. Colleges for Social Mobility” for providing the knowledge for students to move up the rungs of economic success.
