EOP Grant
EOP students who qualify for financial aid may receive an EOP grants average $600 per year. Priority is given to incoming first year and transfer students with a Student Aid Index (SAI) between -1,500 and 0. Additional students may be awarded if funding permits.
- Student Aid Index (SAI) is between: -$1,500 and 0
- Have a complete financial aid file.
- Student must be enrolled in at least 12 units each term.
- To be considered for the grant, EOP students must apply for financial aid by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act application by the year's priority deadline.
- EOP grants will only be awarded as long as funds are available.
- The FAFSA or Cal Dream Act application is a separate process from the EOP admission process.
- For more information on applying for FAFSA or the Cal Dream Act application, please contact Cal Poly Pomona’s Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
- No additional application is needed for consideration.
EOP Scholarships
2025-2026 EOP Scholarships are now available and can only be accessed via private hyperlinks sent to current EOP student's CPP emails.
AMOUNT:$750
DEADLINE: March 2, 2025
CRITERIA/ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be a current EOP student at Cal Poly Pomona
- Must be currently enrolled full-time (12 or more units)
- Minimum 2.5 CPP or Cumulative GPA
- Open to all undergraduate majors
- Must submit a 250-500 word supplemental personal statement/essay

AMOUNT:$1,000 Bronco Bucks
DEADLINE:March 2, 2025
CRITERIA/ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be an EOP student
- Must be currently enrolled full-time (12 or more units)
- Minimum 3.0 CPP or cumulative GPA
- Open to all undergraduate majors
- Preference is given to those who attended Sierra Vista High School, Baldwin Park High School, Mt. San Antonio College or Citrus College
- Must submit a 250-500 word supplemental personal statement/essay

CRITERIA/ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be an EOP student
- Must be currently enrolled full-time (12 or more units)
- Minimum 2.0 CPP or Cumulative GPA
- Open to all undergraduate majors
- Special consideration will be given to those students coming from donor’s hometown in the La Puente area, but all EOP students are encouraged to apply
- Must submit a 250-500 word supplemental personal statement/essay

- Must be a current undergraduate EOP student
- Must be currently enrolled full-time (12 or more units) at the time of application and award
- Minimum 2.5 Cumulative and CPP GPA
- Attend at least 3 EOP Events as listed on the Fall 2024 Calendar at a Glance (PDF)
- Must submit a 250-500 word essay
