Program Eligibility Requirements
The Renaissance Scholars program admits Scholars who demonstrate the potential and motivation to achieve their educational goals. Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Must be a current or former foster youth
- Must provide verification documents of foster care status
- Must be a California resident or an AB 540/2000 nonresident tuition exemption student

Must apply & qualify for admission to Cal Poly Pomona as a freshman OR transfer student. To apply please head over to www2.calstate.edu/apply

Renaissane Scholars offers Fostering Success Drop-in Services to Cal Poly Pomona students with a lived experience in foster care. To access drop-in services students must have a verified foster care status through Renaissance Scholars.
