David Estudiante Appointed Director of New Student Programs and Family Engagement

David Estudiante has been appointed Director of New Student Programs and Family Engagement, effective Monday, December 4th. David has served in the Interim Director role since March 2023.

In this role, David is responsible for the oversight of orientation and transition programs for the 8000+ students and their family members and supporters. David has over 10 years of experience leading diverse teams with a strong commitment to customer service.

He is a TRIO scholar, successfully completing the Upward Bound program. Being a first-generation college graduate, he is committed to serving historically minoritized and underrepresented communities and creating equity in education. His years of experience in industry with a focus on customer experience and engagement has complimented him well in his role in higher education and more specifically in the outreach campaigns, collaborative efforts across campus, and implementation and use of data analysis in the roles for which he has served. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Arkansas and a master’s in Education with a concentration in Student Affairs and Educational Justice from Claremont Graduate University.
