Star Award

Quarterly STAR Awards

The DSA STAR Award identifies and recognizes staff members within the Division who distinguish themselves in their performance and contributions to Student Affairs and the University. The STAR Award Program is an on-going program throughout the academic year. Recipients receive a physical award and will be entered into a drawing for a prize at the next Divisional meeting.

Criteria for Recognition

  • Open to all DSA professional employees
  • Nominated by a peer, colleague or supervisor
  • Nominee exemplifies stellar performance by going above and beyond normal work duties

Recognizing Graduates

Bachelors, Masters and Doctorial graduates are recognized by the Division. If you have a department member who has completed a Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree over the past year, please send us the name, major and where the degree was conferred using the submission form below.

Impact Awards

Impact Awards

The DSA Annual Impact Award reflects the Divisional values of collaboration, integrity, innovation, inclusion, and student-centeredness. Nominations are sought by members of the entire Division. The Student Affairs Executive Leadership Team (ELT) then reviews nominations and selects the winners, which are announced at the end-of-year Divisional meeting.

Criteria for Awards

  • Open to all employees with more than one full year of service
  • Nominated by a peer, colleague or supervisor
  • Nominee exemplifies the value for which they were nominated

Rookie of the Year

Rookie of the Year Award

The DSA Rookie-of-the-Year Award identifies and recognizes staff members who are in their first year at CPP or in a new role in the Division and have made an immediate positive impact. 

Criteria for Recognition

  • Open to all SA professional employees
  • Nominated by a peer, colleague or supervisor
  • Nominee exemplifies stellar performance in their first year/or new role

Campus Partner Award

Campus Partner Award

The Campus Partner Award identifies and recognizes individuals outside Student Affairs who have displayed collaborative partnerships with the Division and University. 

Criteria for Recognition

  • Open to all non-DSA professional employees
  • Nominated by a peer, colleague or supervisor
  • Nominee exemplifies collaborative partnerships is supporting co-curricular student life experiences
