10 Buildings to Undergo Fire Alarm Inspections and Testing Starting on Monday, Oct. 18

Summary of disruption: State-mandated fire alarm inspections and testing are scheduled in 10 buildings starting on Monday, Oct. 18. The inspections and tests will occur on weekdays and are expected to be completed on Friday, Oct. 22.

The days and times for the fire alarm inspection and testing are subject to change:

 

Monday, Oct. 18

Child Care Center (Building 116) from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Kellogg House (Buildings 112 and 113) from 5 a.m.  to 9 a.m.

BioTrek Learning Center (Building 4A) from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 19 and Wednesday, Oct. 20

Student Services Building (Building 121) from 2 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

 

Thursday, Oct. 21

Police and Parking Services (Building 109) from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Parking Structure 1 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

 

Friday, Oct. 22

Parking Structure 2 from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m.

Farm Store (Building 211) and AGRIscapes (Building 211A) from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Meat Lab (Building 34) from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

 

Reason for disruption: Comply with state laws and ensure that the fire alarm systems are working properly.

How does this affect me? Fire alarms and strobe lights will be activated during the inspections and testing.
