Air Conditioning Out of Service in Sections of Building One; Motor Replacement Underway

Summary of disruption: The air-conditioning system that cools the first floor, northeast wing of the second floor and the north wing of the third floor in Building One is out of service because of a supply fan motor breakdown. A new motor is on expedited order. Air conducting is expected to be restored by Monday, Aug. 28.

Reason for disruption: An unexpected breakdown of the supply fan motor. Technicians are working to replace the motor.

How does this affect me? Air-conditioning will not be available in the building. Use fans if needed and dress accordingly.
