Electrical Shutdown Scheduled in Parking Structure 1 Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 9

Summary of Disruption: Power to Parking Structure 1 will be shut down starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 9. Elevators and lights will not be in operation. Crews are expected to restore electrical service by approximately 2:30 p.m.

Reason for Disruption: Allow campus crews to replace circuit breakers for two elevators.

How does this affect me? Elevators and lights in the parking structure will not be service. The traffic signal at Kellogg Drive and Palm Drive also will not be in operation.

What do I need to do? Drivers are urged to turn on headlights and exercise caution if using the parking structure. Exit the structure using stairways during the work.
