Quarter v. Semester General Education
The Quarter v. Semester General Education tool is not meant to replace the University Catalog. This tool was built using the 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 General Education Catalogs.
Work with your academic advisor to ensure that the General Education courses you are taking count toward your degree requirements.
If a quarter course in the table has gray boxes, this means that the semester course didn't count for General Education before or it's new. If a semester course in the table has gray boxes, this means that the quarter course equivalent can't be taken for General Education credit in semesters.
Some courses have moved between sub-areas in the semester redesign. Those courses are noted in the tool.
