You are cordially invited to attend and participate in our 13th annual Cyber Security and Awareness Fair on Tuesday, October 31st, 2017. Join us for an afternoon tea with Alice in Cyberland, where we journey down the rabbit hole into a world of Cyber Security Awareness, teaching visitors how to avoid hackers, phishing scams, banking fraud, and blackmailing schemes by the sly Cheshire Cat and the mischievous Mad Hacker.

Come here for hands-on hacking demonstrations of various Internet of Things (IoT) devices in a model Smart Home, and guidance on how to secure them. Join SWIFT for a look at the "Your machine is infected" cold call scam and learn how to protect yourself Stop by the FAST exhibit to see a live demonstration of an automated WiFi phishing attack that malicious hackers use in other public areas. Cyber Security/Forensics Poster Contest

Present a poster on any of the newest trends in cybersecurity and forensics research! $1000 in prizes "will be awarded to the top presenters, with a first-place prize of $500. Submissions due by October 8; see our website for more information. Sponsored by ISACA Los Angeles Chapter.

Scavenger Hunt

Come explore Wonderland in a themed scavenger hunt! This event is open to students of all majors, surrounding colleges and the community. This fair is meant to inform you about Cyber Security and how it affects you on a daily basis. We have a variety of distinguished speakers, a poster session and hands-on activities aimed to give you a better understanding of Cyber Security and how to protect yourself online.
As we become accustomed to using technology in nearly every aspect of our daily lives, we need to also become aware of how the data we store on our devices can be compromised. Keeping your information safe is something that affects everyone, and by attending our fair you can begin learning how to do so.
