Gabriel Graco, Assistant Professor of Geography and participant in a three-year CSU project Artificial Intelligence for Social Good (AI4SG), at CPP, students learn how to incorporate geospatial methods and data into creating an AI chatbot aiding Pomona residents in sorting recycling from trash.

The College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) offers a self-paced AI Machine Learning Bootcamp that prepares attendees for Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Certification Exam AI-102: Designing and Implementing an Azure AI Solution.

2023-24 course catalog offerings at CPP include CS4200 Artificial Intelligence, CS 4230 Social Computing, CIS 4230 Artificial Intelligence Applications in Business, IBM 6540 Marketing Data Science, IME 3510 Industrial Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, PHL 3850 The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and courses in emerging technologies sometimes explore AI tools and influences in analysis and analytics, art, business, environment, and society.

As part of a multidisciplinary education, Artificial Intelligence, particularly generative AI and other machine learning implementations can build workflows that reduce time spent on low-value repetitive tasks that delay the technical and creative process.
